May is here! Almost the start of summer. This means that Mothers Day, The 76^th Annual May Festival in Oroville. (See the details on our Website at “Latest News.”) [http://orovillewashington.com] Then the following Saturday is “Run For the Border” when over 300 motorcyclists arrive sometime after noon and spend the day in and around our area.

MAY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – The program for May 14^th, at Yo-Yo’s, will be Geoff Klein, who will talk about bringing a film festival to Oroville. Someone will win a FREE  LUNCH! Meetings are always OPEN  to the PUBLIC. Come meet new business owners and share information as to what is happening in your business.

The Oroville Visitor Information Center and Museum at 12^th and Ironwood, will be OPEN  May 3^rd. Hours Monday – Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Chamber 2010 membership is at 65 businesses. 13 are new chamber members and 6 individuals. Dues are just $60 per business and $30 per individual.

Chamber Website has been updated with a master Chamber membership list

and under “Local Websites” those members with “websites” are listed and the second link is for “Organizations.” Due to limited space, we can only list those businesses with an actual website.

Osoyoos Lake Veteran’s Memorial Park will open May 3^rd, as well. Reservations can still be made through the Washington State Parks reservation system.

The 2010 Chamber Budget has been approved! Watch for more details on the Toast of Oroville Wine Tasting event scheduled for Saturday July 31^st!
